A few obsessions....

Well, let's talk about a few of my obsessions. The first one is WoW- World of Warcraft.  I know what you are thinking. A mom playing a game for kids.  Well,  let me tell you, it is so much more than that. There is a sense of community and I play with "friends" from all over the place. WE do all kinds of things, from quests (mini storylines you finish) to smash and attack other players in battlegrounds.  I also get a little me time.  Besides I have something I can talk to my kid about.  Yay, I am a sorta cool mom. Not really, but I try.
My second obsession is TWILIGHT and all it entails.  Yes I am a Twihard.  It started with the books.  I devoured them over a few days.  I was mesmerized by the story of these two vey different, and I mean different, teenagers.  I cried and laughed.  When the movie was set to come out, I was kinda terrified that it would not do justice to the book.  I was not that disappointed until I realized that they could never recreate it all.  The heart was still there.  I now find myself looking for all things Twilight.  By the same token, I have met strong  and beautiful women who feel the same as I do.  It is nice to know that there are others like me.
